Tapestry of Strength

Bishops (Diocesan College) returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe after a hiatus of six years. Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, and taking their inspiration from plays that they have studied and performances that they have given through their high school drama journey, four members of the College’s final year Dramatic Arts class explore themes of identity, acceptance and belonging as they navigate the minefield that is masculinity and strength in 2022. This coming-of-age piece weaves together an assortment of South African and other well-known monologues, dialogues and poetry.
