Those weary of endless stand-up shows and the far from endless list of subjects their stars choose to cover often find respite in sketch comedy. Lacking any pretensions, Greedy is the perfect distraction for the exhausted Festival goer.

Although at times the set pieces seem to be crying out for a more inventive twist or a more surprising climax, each is acted with a smoothness and fluidity that charms the audience into enjoyment. An innocent and endearing world of gentle humour, scarcely any of Greedy’s rapid fire skits fall flat.

The gang of four performers may look like they’ve had to save up their holidays from that call centre job just to be here, but with laughs coming from some very odd angles, this only serves to give the show an amateur cabaret feel which is very endearing.
