Free Royal Mile Tours

Come join us for the original free walking tour around the heart of Edinburgh’s historic Old Town. Since Edinburgh’s first festival in 1947 our trained local guides, all volunteers who love their city, have shared their knowledge with visitors from all over the world. Our tours leaving from the City Chambers start at 10.30am and 2.00pm and last for about 90 minutes. Visitors have consistently awarded our tours five stars on Tripadvisor. So come and learn something of the rich history and the colourful characters that have made Edinburgh such a renowned World Heritage site.
